Finally I finished drawing this whole thing out and writing down all the info DX

I planned on auditioning for le Ebon Spire the moment it started releasing information.

Dohoho~ All sorts of a sexy oct, I decided to use Zypher (one of my fav OCs, I've had him for years and have developed him far more then many of my others)

I think I'm going to have a spoiler ref sheet to explain his bracelets, or somethin XD;

Name: Zypher Bahum

Gender: Male

Race: Drag (a dragon thingy that can turn into a human. In Zyphers case he can only stay in human, and it seems like he rather be known as a human)

Age: 23ish (He apparently forgot how old he is)

Height: 5’8”

Personality:
Quite a cheery, playful young man, Zypher always seems to have a smile on his face and is always talking about something. He seems to act like a child at times, always bouncing off the walls as he has a very expressive face, you can always tell what he is feeling just by the gleam in his eyes or from his grinning mouth. He speaks in a rather strange and thick accent, mixing up his words as though he was very new to speaking the language, but it doesn’t seem to stop him from rambling on. Zypher isn’t shy at all; if the person doesn’t ‘smell funny’ then he’ll treat a total stranger like an old friend.

He’s confident and always looks on the brighter side of life when he’s around people, (whom he adores apparently) Appearing to never get frustrated, he’ll seriously try over and over until he gets his problem down correctly.

In a situation where everyone else is panicking, he appears to calm down and takes the situation with logic speaking in a soft tone to try and calm people down, even if he’s just as confused/frantic as them.

It’s pretty clear behind the cheeriness, he feels rather lonely, and almost lost. It’s no secret; if someone asked him, he would tell them no hesitation.

The moment he gets in a small area, or in a dark place, he falls apart.

Abilities:
-He has amazing balance and is fairly strong, though not strong enough to plow through a wall he’s still above average. Zyphers innate skill is to change into a dragon, but he apparently cannot for some reason.

-Zypher is very good at dodging attacks, and all around reflex is good. He claims he guesses where the person swings, and simply moves out of the way(it’s an reflex thing). He is very quick when he is dodging.

-He never seems to tire, he has really good stamina. He can fight seriously for hours and hardly runs out of breath. Zypher claims that his bracelets makes him feel alive.

-In his bracelets, there is a rather strange looking sword that he can call out of it. It’s around the length of his arm and he’s just okay with it. He’s no skilled sword fighter, and mainly tends to swing the sword around. It seems to works for him. The sword itself apparently has no name, other than being Zyphers sword, and seems to be made from the same stuff as his bracelets.

-Zypher has a freakishly good sense of smell, which is how he’s able to tell a person is there before they show themselves. Because of this, it’s very hard to sneak up on him, unless they’re down wind, even then it’s still rather difficult to get the element of surprise on him.

-He has the skills to become a rather good mage, but he only uses two which he learned from Maki and Dreama. He apparently doesn’t care for magic, so never really refined his skills.

Fireflies: A rather strange spell that Zypher learned from Maki while copying her the first time they met. The spell is rather quick to cast, forming a rather large amount of small little butterfly type of creatures. They fly in a group wherever the caster points at or whatever and they explode in very powerful but small blasts. Zypher uses these mainly for light when he gets nervous in a not very well lighted area. (Only when he actually is calm enough to focus on it though)

Elemental Sword: A spell that he learned by mimicking Dreama, he uses a spell to infuse it into his sword. It’s not something he uses often, since it takes a while to charge up, but it’s his power hitter. He normally uses a sort of purple energy which isn’t really an element, just pure unrefined magical energy or something. If it’s a long ranged fight and he’s having trouble catching the person, he’ll start using this quite often.


Strengths:
- Zyphers freakishly good sense of smell is considered one of his strongest skills. He can pretty much sniff out people in hiding, and find his way through places such as a maze if there’s something at the end. Like a mouse or something. This skill is at its best when there is little to no wind, but if it’s windy he has issues. It’s unknown why he can sniff out people so well, other than the fact he just can.

-He’s a great at the art of dodging an attack. His reflexes are outstanding, so if he can see the attack, there’s a high chance he can dodge it. Apparently he only gets lucky when there’s a back attack.

-Because of his bracelets, it seems as though his bones cannot be broken or ripped apart. His bones themselves seem to have turned into a similar material to the bracelets.

-He never seems to tire, though he does sleep, he just seems can go on for hours and hours without rest.

Weakness:
-There’s a language barrier. He can understand people just fine, though there’s a few times where big words baffle him, but unless the person is really good at understanding mixed up words and a thick accent, normal people will have a hard time understanding him. This won’t stop him from babbling on; it seems more like he doesn’t realize that he’s difficult to understand.

-Even though he quick to dodge, he’s surprisingly slow when it comes to running. He drags his feet, doesn’t jump very high, and though he looks like he would be light on his feet, he’s surprisingly heavy.
-Because of his rather random unrefined fighting style, he tends to miss and more along the lines of flailing around with a sword.

-The moment it becomes dark, he starts to fall apart. His hands start to shake, he starts hyperventilating and sometimes he’ll vomit. He is unable to focus and, if he isn’t bound by anything and can still move, he stumbles around begging at the top of his lungs to be let out. If it’s just dim, he’ll start to get rather nervous, fidgety, and starts to breath rather hard, but not to the point when he loses it completely. He is still unable to focus in a dim area.

Also because of this, he does not go out at night, and sleeps with the lights on. Shadowy areas also bother him, and tend to stay away from them even if it’s the only way.

-He is easy to be caught in traps and stuff like that. When he gets tied up, he starts to panic similar to when in the dark. He’ll wiggle around until he gets free or until someone lets him go.

-If left in a rather small room, where he can’t get out/is locked in, he slowly starts to get cabin fever. He’ll start clawing at the walls and ramming himself into them and the door.

History:
A while back he was apparently found by a couple after he had gotten caught in a trap. The couple couldn’t understand him, but took him in and mended to his leg wound. As they found out during his recovery, he seemed to be rather lost and had absolutely no idea where he was or why everything seemed so different, so they decided to help him out until he was confident enough to go out on his own. A sometime later, Zypher still had issues with the local language but had seemingly randomly decided to leave the pair to go out and go looking for books to hopefully figure out what happened in the past.

It was then he found a rather large mansion type place, and claimed it as his home and base as he was doing this said quest. For a few years he was known as ‘The Book Thief’, getting every book he can and taking them back to his little hideaway without paying for them.

Soon, people started to complain about the thefts but anyone who tried to catch him before would fail, until Maki found out in the mercenary guild and set off after him with Remus in toe.

The moment the two confronted each other, Maki and Remus tried to actually fight Zypher, which they both failed at apprehending him. During the fight though, a book that Maki was carrying apparently was damaged, and Zypher practically leaps to the books rescue. But Maki stops him stating that to fix the book; he has to stop stealing other books and buy them like any other person.

He agrees, takes the book, fixes it, and apparently has been following Maki ever since working along with her and Remus in the mercenary guild thing so he can raise money to afford his habit.

There’s apparently more to him before he was found by the couple, something about being in a small dark place for a very, very, VERY long time. He mentions he did something bad to go to said dark place, and that he wants to know what happened to his mother.

Extra:
-Zypher will mimic people, copying their moves when he isn’t fighting. Normally when he does this, he’s laughing, apparently having a whole load of fun.

-The language he is fluent is and where his accent is from is over five thousand years old. It’s Old Lobithian and he seems to be the only one who still knows it so fluently. His ‘O’s becomes ‘U’s because of his accent.

-The purple stone on his necklace is actually one of Remus hand cores. He always has it on, though why would be the big question, when asked he’ll laugh and say something like “Keeps him cluse yus!” or something to that effect.

-He likes sweets, candies and normally anything with a sweet taste to it. Zypher apparently has a small pouch of small colorful sugar.

-His bracelets emit a sort of pure energy, and cannot be removed. No matter how hard he tries to pull those off, they won’t.

-Zyphers got an obsession with books, it doesn’t matter what kind of book it is as long as he doesn’t already own the book, he will WANT it. Stealing it, buying it, whatever, this apparent obsession stems from his want to know what has happened in the past.

-Zypher would normally be wearing a black jacket with a popped up collar, but he earlier had given it to Remus to keep him warm. Because of his outfit without the jacket wasn’t warm enough for the winter, he went shopping with Dreama.

-The mark on his forehead looks like a tattoo, but at the same time isn’t. If asked he’ll playfully say “A mums kiss!! Hee hee!”

-His opinion of others races is that if they don’t have bad intentions, and are relatively nice they are good in his book.

-He aims for the face.

-When it comes to technology, he finds it really strange, he's one of those who wants to know how it works. He'll curiously try and open it up just to see.

-Oh I forgot to add this, he doesn't seem to see death as a big deal. He has no problem with killing a person if they're trying to kill him, and normally when he wins he'll give them one of his little candies, even if they're dead. According to him, death is just going to sleep and never waking up, so it doesn't bother him. He DOES understand why people are scared of it, and why many people become sad about death, he himself doesn't feel that way.

But just because death doesn't bother him, it doesn't mean he goes around killing everything in sight. Infact, it's RARE for him to go for the kill (this includes the statement above with him killing a person who is trying to kill him) he'll stop himself short. He's learned restraint from working with that Merc thing, since he would get more money from living targets.

-His lol theme song I guess would be Grace by Apoctoliptica or however it's spelt. I noticed a whole bunch of people have theme songs for thier characters, and that was a song I guess reminds me of him. XD
